January Sales: Mini Style Haul!

Hello everyone hope ye all had a wonderful Christmas!

Today I am just posting a little style haul of some pieces I have picked up in the sales recently. I am not one of these people (that I salute, ye are troopers!) who queue at 8am on St. Stevens'/Boxing Day for the sales. I much prefer having a relaxed look around the shops once the initial chaos is done with in the days following! I know what you're thinking in dismay 'you'll miss out on loaaads of the best stuff!!' but in all honesty I have found that people are spending less these days so there is usually an ample supply of items I would go for that are actually in my size - shoes in a UK size 6 can be particularly difficult to obtain as usually sizes 3 & 7 are the only sizes left in the nicest shoes/boots. Not this year, hurrah!

So here are my purchases...ogle them at your leisure! ;)

I picked up some lovely boots in New Look. I was dying for a pair of dressy ankle boots...and lucky enough I found not one but two pairs of what I would consider perfect for dressy/casual nights out! They were only €19 (Grey) and €14 (Black) such AMAZING bargains I was well chuffed!

 Mesh Detail Top // Zara

I found a lovely deep purple mesh t-shirt top in Zara for €16, perfect with black skinnies or leather pants for a girls night out. I also picked up a beautiful purple pattern a-line skirt in River Island which will take me right in to, dare I say it already, Spring/Summer 2014! The green 'skort' style skirt I am yet uncertain of as I am unsure of how to style it...but I may just keep it after all!

So much pretty!!

The highlights of my little shopping expeditions are undoubtedly the Zara gold chain detail bag, Red Herring studded ankle boots for a QUARTER of the price (retailing at €85...reduced to €25.50...crazy!!) and a beautiful DKNY cream wallet - GAH! (€90 reduced to €40...I could NOT leave this behind!) So happy, broke but very very happy!
